Hostal Horta Rosell

Although sometimes hostels (this is also the case) are too spartan and old in their facilities, this hostel must be highlighted for several reasons. Excellent location (you arrive in a couple of minutes to the beach), SUPER FRIENDLY and efficient staff, varied and very affordable food as well as entertaining shows on their super terrace every night. A highly recommended place that I would like to return to

The room is simple, but to spend a night it is fine (not in summer) it would benefit much more with a mini refrigerator, an Air Conditioner (a heat that was impossible to sleep) there was a fan, but it was not enough for the nights of August, and to top it all off, if I had a TV (but you can do without it). Central yes, close to supermarkets...and bus stops. And if you park nearby, nothing at all, on the "outskirts" you can find something, if not for a fee.

We were not expecting much from this hostel as it was so cheap compared to all other accommodations, but we were happily surprised. The rooms are basic but clean, you have your own private bathroom but what makes it stand out is the beautiful outdoor area, which has live music I think most nights. Also the breakfast, for 5 € , is great value. You get coffee/tea, glass of juice with a choice of 3 varieties, a freshly made sandwich, a fresh pastry and a piece of fruit. We were full for hours. Also worth a mention, is Rosa on reception, who is always friendly and helpful.
