Hotel Marblau Tossa

Centrally located hotel, very good value for money, run by the Dolors family, husband and son, very abundant and varied breakfast, everything fresh, they keep replenishing, spacious dining room, very well located on the main street of Tossa, you can reach everywhere in a short time, spacious room with a balcony overlooking the street, I chose very well, already thinking of repeating next year.

I start from the room, which for me is fundamental: spacious, with a working minibar and quality television. You immediately notice that the hotel has been recently renovated, in fact the rooms have a modern design, but with a touch of class given by the restored furniture and some small paintings that enrich the environment. I didn’t ask, but I think the founding owner of the hotel was an art lover, or maybe an artist himself, because throughout the hotel you can feel a certain artistic attention. The bathroom is large and comfortable, as is the room. Breakfast is good and meets both Italian needs (croissant and cappuccino) and international ones, especially French, who prefer savory options or fruit. The real strength of the hotel is the kindness of the owners, really exceptional. Only note: the corridors to the rooms seem older, probably not renovated. Also, during my stay I found a couple of French guests chatting loudly until 2am. Being the thin walls and my bed near the wall, the first night I had some difficulty sleeping. Fortunately, after reporting the problem, the situation never happened again.
