Maspalomas Lago

We are currently here because we have booked the yoga course that is taking place here and therefore want to live nearby. Our apartment is clean and functionally furnished. The bathroom is very nice and even has a washing machine. If we had known that, we would have needed less luggage. So be sure to ask when booking, as all the bungalows seem to be equipped differently. The kitchen is functional, but the equipment in terms of crockery etc. is poor. But that doesn't matter, you don't want to be cooking all the time. There is no kettle (although it is stated), but a pot will do. It is nice that the sleeping area (very ascetic single beds..., closet, that's it) can be separated from the kitchen/living area by a sliding door if you want to use the pull-out sofa (for a third person). In general, the complex is relatively quiet, but if you have the wrong apartment (next to the tennis court or facing the Ocean Park amusement park), it can be a bit loud. There are only a few holidaymakers here at the moment, none of the "Halli Galli" type of drinking tourists. The pool complex is very nicely laid out, there are loungers, but access to the pool is only possible from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I cannot say whether there are enough loungers by the pool when the complex is at full capacity, but each bungalow has its own terrace with 2 loungers and a small dining area. In that respect... The principle of the complex seems to be that some bungalows are permanently occupied (by Spaniards, English people), others are only partially occupied and then rented out vacant (when the owner is not there) via MASPALOMAS Lago. The receptionist LIZ is very friendly and helpful The restaurant is currently closed, so no comment can be made on that. But that's a shame, because there isn't really another restaurant within walking distance. 2 supermarkets are within easy walking distance, prices are like in Germany, there is everything you need. To sum it up: if you do the very good yoga course here, then the complex is recommended! If you ask exactly which bungalow you get. In the course, each participant actually has a different setup and location. So be careful. There are a lot of cats in the complex, but they seem to be looked after and leave you completely alone. If one of them wanders onto the terrace and you don't want it (I like that), they are quickly chased away. No problem. Wi-Fi is only available for a fee, so we decided against it. It's not up to date anymore...

Be careful with the wasps!! Plagued by wasps!! The apartment was very good, the pool was very good, but the management was horrible. They didn't clean the apartment and when we went to complain they made us out to be liars, a total lack of tact with customers. We booked and paid for an apartment with a view of the pool and the only thing we saw was a wall. Many customers complained about the wasps, although they said it was normal, that there were also wasps on the street...well, it's a shame that they have such a beautiful place and manage it poorly and with such poor customer service, very superb. . The cafeteria is very good, the cafeteria staff are very pleasant. A quiet complex, but the pool hammocks were unbearable, uncomfortable and had little shade, few umbrellas and those that were there looked like they came out of a war, full of holes and in very poor condition.

The place is just perfect for a week or two in the sun and here is why. Code to get in on the main gate. A nice pool and a pool for juniors A bar besides the pool in case you need to cool with an ice cream or a cold drink. And also hot food served. Also they have chisps and some pizza in case you are in the mood for them. Receptionclose everyday at 4pm. But they will contact you for info in rel to check in or where you will find your key of your place. One-, 4 days wifi 20 euros. And also not to forget. Slow wifi. The villa or the room has everything you might need for a normal stay, washing machine, toaster, coffee filter machine (coffee not provided) , TV (telly) with lots of channels to choose from. Also some radio stations (my fav was los 40 urban radio station). Good beds, firm mattresses. Overall a good place, in fact a deluxe place as they say it in the booking.
