This hotel may have been 4 stars once, but it doesn’t compare to other 4 star hotels. On paper, it has everything you’d expect at a 4 star hotel, but to be honest it was all a bit naff.
The rooms like tired, and the furniture needs an update. The bathroom towels are too small and paper thin.
We went for Unique, don’t bother. It doesn’t really get you anything more than a few cordoned off spaces with sun beds. Dinner is served in the same restaurant as everyone else, and we found the choices for breakfast and lunch better in the main restaurant.
The pool ‘entertainment’ was unbearable! The ‘health coach’ was pushy, loud and thought the sun shined out his backside. It made for relaxing by the pool pretty much impossible.
For a hotel with so many floors, and amenities split across levels, you’d think the lifts would be efficient. Must the time you’d wait 5-7 mins for a lift. Walking up 11 floors isn’t an option.
If I were to go to Gran Canaria again, I’d get a villa and enjoy the range of well priced restaurants in Plays del Ingles.
