Self catering apartment which had everything we needed, the owner had thought of everything that may be needed. We arrived with milk, fruit and cava welcome package. There are other rental properties, we were in 329 and cannot fault it. Yes, you are need a road and there is road noise if you are very sensitive, we weren't and it did not bother us or keep us awake.
There is a beautiful pool, kept really clean and plenty of beds. It opens at 10am and you access from the first floor, if you have mobility issues there is a ground floor door which can be opened on request. Gardens kept immaculate and there is an amazing restaurant right on site, so you do really have a poolside side bar. You can gets drinks etc to take to the pool, just no glass. Really cannot fault it and the communication with the apartment owner was first class.
Location is amazing, shops and bars literally on your doorstep but it is not a noisy resort, just the right mix for all. A short walk to the beach too.

A warm and warm welcome from Gaia despite, I will not be coming back here. The apartment is spacious and everything was clean. Those are the positive things I can tell you about it.
The bed is bad. With the rental income of a week, maybe a decent mattress can be bought...
The boiler is too small. When 2 people want to shower you have to be very careful with the hot water.
And then, the NOISE! It is as if the highway runs right through the house. The GC-1 is about 350 m from the building and traffic rushes by day and night. Here you would be begging for a traffic jam. The noise of traffic on the GC-500, right next to it - and according to the landlord, a connecting street that is quiet - drowns out the undertones of the motorway and the heavy noise of the building's ventilation system next door. You might still consider sleeping with the windows closed, but the whirl of traffic reverberates in the hallway next to the bedroom. I'm so pissed off about this because I checked with the landlord beforehand if there was noise. He assured that this was not the case and that no one had ever commented on it.
We had apartment 519, whose balcony opens onto the building next door.
This wasn't a relaxing holiday. I'm under more stress now than I was before my leave.
Thank you, Agaete Park Tropical Style

Building is showing signs of age, and not busy this time of year. Some apartments under refurbishment and children's pool is being rebuilt so hammering and concrete breaking every weekday. You won't need an alarm after 8 am.
The guy who cleans the pool and does general maintenance should be fired, he is that rude. We walked around the complex on our first day and he was literally screaming at us because we went into the pool area 10 minutes before the pool opens. We were in Street clothes and had no towels or bag with us. Pool access is not signposted, the only entrance we could find was at the back of the car park and was being used by the builders. We discovered if you go to first floor towards mini golf there is a spiral staircase to pool.
Two hours later we are heading for our car, we exit the reception area and he followed us out, he was red faced, shouting furiously and gesturing wildly telling us to come back. I really thought he was going to attack us. I stood between my wife and him showing him my car key but only when my wife got into our car did he stop. We spent the rest of the week avoiding him, there was nobody in reception to complain to.
The pool attendant was nice with a smile every day.
The apartment we had is basic, though well equipped for two people and clean so no problem there. PDI is still fairly quiet but there is plenty of restaurants and activities
