Borabora the Hotel

Very expensive for quality. No elevator. The name is wrong. At night the terrace is a Maria smokehouse if you stay on the third floor the smell of tobacco enters the rooms. If you book by agency then it is a problem to access the building, there is no contact telephone at the entrance.

Excellent quality- price, 5 min away from Canteras Beach, easy to reach from the harbour. You can have a coffe in the lobby area from 8am to 8pm. Reception is open from earky in the morning till late in the night. You get your own access for night hours.

We stayed here in February. The hotel can be difficult to find but wont be a problem via taxi and transfers. The rooms are very basic and dated but for what you pay you cannot go wrong. The hotel offers free coffee and tea with a small biscuit pack in the lobby. WIFI is available. We had a short stay and found it just right for a bed to sleep in and shower to wash. Please don't expect a 3-4 star. This is a budget hotel.
