Bungalows Grimanesa

Second stay this year and as always very happy, the season depicts how busy it is, 7 people around the pool today and it’s glorious! Yes the bungalows are looking a little dated and tired but remain clean and adequate, would I pay more if they were jazzed up a little,think we would, safe and all communal areas spotless so they remain our favourite complex to date x Thanks to all the friendly staff you make this place x

Really enjoyed our stay here. The apartments were regularly cleaned and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There is a shop and swimming pool on site. No entertainment. The location was a little out of the way which meant it was very quiet.

Spent there a week, about 2 years ago. Reception staff wasn't speaking any languages, besides Spanish, so it wasn't easy to communicate. Paid by card during check-in, but was told that payment didn't go through due to connectivity problems, therefore had to repeat the transaction the day after. By the end of the month got my payment extract, clearly showing two payments to the Grimanesa hotel. Scanned all the papers and wrote them, asking to check their account and reimburse the double charge. Unfortunately, didn't get any feedback, so tried to call/write them via What'sUp (in Spanish). They claimed they didn't get my email, so I resend them all the scans via WhatsUp and tried to call them couple more times. Each time they claimed they have to check with their bank and if I could re-send them the scans (which I did three times). In the end I send them paper copies via a recommended letter. Bottom line, they don't answer to my mails, messages, calls and didn't reimburse the money.
