Club Green Oasis Maspalomas

This was a special holiday to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Such a shock when we arrived to confusion by the staff and as we waited outside the abandoned reception, my husband had a nasty slip on the tiles. We got to our room and on 6 occasions the electricity went off. We relied on the touch on our phone. The view outside our room was a building site feel, certainly not a holiday vibes. There was a sign for bar and restaurant, but nothing there. There is a pool but no seats, we were told we could bring some from the apartment. We aired our concerns and were offered a refund. We accepted and left within an hour. I made every effort possible to follow up with booking/cm and Sweet Holidays as it is advertised, but now we are being told we are getting no refund. 902 euro, wasted. As the advertised the property in a different name to green oasis, I could never have seen these reviews, which are all factually correct, as we had similar issues. Do yourself a favour and go to a different accommodation.

They advertised this accommodation as suitable for a family of four, claiming on the website that it offers 50 m². In reality, there are only about 25 m² of actual indoor space, split over two floors, while the remaining 25 m² are just garden. The whole place feels more like a campsite with bungalows, and many people actually live there permanently — it does not feel like tourist accommodation at all. When we arrived, the reception looked as if it had been abandoned for years (see photo) — definitely not a welcoming first impression. Cleanliness was unacceptable from the moment we entered: there was sand on the sofa, sand inside the drawers, and the oven was very dirty. Of the two folding chairs available, one was broken. The kitchen neon light was detached, with exposed hanging cables (see photo), and the entire unit was poorly illuminated. One of the sun loungers provided was simply disgusting (see photo). Inside, there was no space to place a table — once you set it up, you simply couldn’t move around anymore. Eating outside wasn’t possible either because the neighbors smoked constantly, and the smoke blew directly into our area. The ground floor had no wardrobe and not even a simple coat hanger, forcing us to go up and down the stairs continuously for our clothes or to cover the sofa with jackets and clothing. Soundproofing was nonexistent: when the neighbor coughed at night, it felt like he was literally in the room with us. The sofa bed, advertised as suitable for two people, was extremely uncomfortable and barely the size of a single — at best a small double. I couldn’t sleep at all. After just one night, we were already looking for another place and ended up giving Green Oasis six nights for free. For almost 100 euros per night, we expected comfort, proper maintenance, and basic cleanliness — none of which were provided.Rip off!!

10 nights stay and we were only 3, of which we lost 2 days trying to be relocated elsewhere, and they did not, besides finally charging us the two nights + the Cleaning Service (145€ we were lifted), and the street itself was cleaner than that den, ants all over the earthenware, covered, you could not even drink water without first washing the glass, total 238€ we were taken and the street. We were refunded €400 after so many calls and talking to one and the other. My wife with anxiety breakdown and nothing, still right, but they didn't give her arm to twist. HOSTICASA and its workers (on the phone) lack a lot of civility and empathy with the customer. This will not stay that way because with the evidence we have of images and videos we will get where we need to go, so that no client lives what we live in three days in a bungalow 601 of sorrow. Above all else are people and the customer has not been taken into account here.
