Gran Amadores

Hotel was clean .not far from buses.start of holiday was quiet .then music from other hotel at back which is directly near bedrooms .cleaners on came in ever now and then .bar area was not great .group of English watching England play .had it ruined but the staff running it they were so loud u could not here tv.so some left and went to bed .never went in there again

We had a great week staying at Gran Amadores. It was quiet, which was exactly what we wanted, and we could always get a sun lounger around the pool. We had two ground‑floor apartments next to each other, which made it really easy for our group to dine together outside. Playa Amadores is only a short walk away with lovely clear water, though it did get busy at the weekend. There’s also a beautiful coastal walk to Puerto Rico — hilly in places but not too challenging first thing in the morning when it’s cooler, and the sea views are amazing. The buses were brilliant for getting around and stop very close to the resort. The ones coming back from the Puerto Rico direction stop right outside, which was really handy. Our favourite beach was Anfi del Mar, only a short bus trip away, with the best sand and water we found all week. For shopping, there’s a big supermarket in Puerto Rico with much more choice and cheaper prices than the local Spar — it’s a short bus ride plus a 15‑minute walk. We didn’t eat at the resort, but the food we saw looked nice. There are restaurants along the beach, though if you want more choice you’ll need to head into Puerto Rico. Overall, it was a great holiday — relaxing around the pool, a lovely beach close by, and easy places to visit if you want to hop on a bus. Exactly what we were looking for.

Just home from an amazing solo trip. Hotel is clean, with spacious well equipped rooms. Pool areas well maintained lots of space, decent pools with great views. All staff I spoke to were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Hotel is in a great location with regular bus connections on the doorstep and the beach 5 minutes away. Great hotel and so peaceful, will definitely return!! Not really a kid orientated hotel defo more an adults hotel.
