Rocamar Apartamentos

Myself and my adult daughter stayed here for a week during February. Very friendly staff at this hotel. No frills budget accommodation which was reasonably spacious with effective air con, comfortable bed and decent shower. There is a small shop selling drinks and snacks onsite and a pool bar which serves food. The pool area was lovely and quiet with a life guard present. We had a good time as the weather was perfect. Sunbathing during the day and cooled down after sunset. I would like to emphasise that the location is on a very steep hill. We are fit and were able to walk to the beach and shops and back again, but the steep walk back is a real workout. Also, the steps are not accessible for pushchairs, wheelchairs or those with reduced mobility. The beach and harbour are lovely. We took a boat ride to Mogan for the market which was worth a visit and walked to Amadores beach (about 20 mins scenic walk)

Really enjoyed our 7 nights here went self catering and room had everything needed, microwave, kettle, hob and fridge Welcome gifts of water and cava was a nice touch. Room was a little tired but clean. We had a room on same level as the very spacious pool area, never had a problem with sunbeds, often there were only a dozen people around the pool. Got a little busier for the early afternoon happy hour at the bar Only had one meal of pizza at the bar, this was very nice and reasonably priced On site shop and the one in the Montebelo across the road were good for water and fresh baked buns Walk down to centre was about 15 to 20 mins, we got a taxi back up the steep hill a few times and neve cost more than 5 euros Would definitely come back, in fact checked for next year, UNFORTUNATELY hotel is being refurbished under new ownership this summer so not yet available.

Apartment on the sun. Cosy rooms and pool area with a simple bar. Staff provide good service. Complained on a mattress, got a new one in the class. Very good. Small shop on the plant with fresh round pieces and bowl every day. A quiet and pleasant place to travel to.
