Cuevas de Tio Tobas

A magical place and wonderful experience with my cousin and boyfriend

The experience has been quite disappointing. The place seems very abandoned. The kitchen has a very sparse and incoherent utensils; in our apartment, for example, there was neither a toaster nor a coffee maker. Showers lose water through the cable or there is no way to leave them attached to shower normally. Mattresses are spring-loaded, quite uncomfortable: they sound when moving and stick together, making it difficult to rest well. In general, cleaning leaves much to be desired. In cave 5, for example, there were two dried flies stuck on the inside of the living room window. The floor seems to scrub infrequently and the sofas, in addition to small ones, have the seats visibly neglected. It is a shame, because the surroundings are beautiful, in the middle of nature and with magnificent views of Sierra Nevada. The front desk staff, of course, was very friendly and friendly throughout. It was precisely because of the good reviews we had read that we decided to book, but we honestly do not understand those reviews. Personally, I would not recommend it and would advise looking at other options.

Near to Guadix city :Tio Tobas, Cuevas. Experience; historic cave like appartments, from +/_ 1890, nice stay. Limited activities. Good base(camp) for Sierra Nevada tours. The appartment is a multi-module carved room. No way modern. See history.
