It is a village of the Alpujarra inside a village of the Alpujarra. In Bubión, one of the most typical ones, this peculiar development is located, which is halfway between a hotel and an apartment, because to be considered the latter it only lacks a kitchen. At least in the room where we stayed. But it has a functional bathroom, a good bedroom, and a better living room with a sofa bed. Outside, a small table is useful for having a drink when it's cool, which when we went only happened at night. The best thing is surely the quality of sleep, because you don't hear any noise there. It is a quiet place and, even if there are people, you don't notice any hustle and bustle or hear anyone shouting. A walk through the villa reveals a nice corner with two swings, a ping-pong table (you can play for free, they give you the paddles and balls at reception), fountains scattered here and there, benches to sit and rest for a while, beautiful views... Anyway, the setting is pleasant. There is also a playroom for the little ones, a bit short on equipment, and a pool that I include in the chapter of minor defects, because it is small, surrounded by concrete, and the sun loungers are lined up in rows; I didn't like the layout at all. Behind the users are the Sierra Nevada mountains, which still retain some snow. At the reception, the service is pleasant. The waitress who serves in the area with tables in front of the main facade also provides it. It surely takes a little longer than it should, but that's because she has to balance that task with the one at the restaurant inside. She is also not to blame for the wine selection being so poor, or rather so poorly served. Because the wines you see there are not bad. There are some from an Alpujarran winery, from Cástaras, that are not bad at all, but someone could bring a little order and prevent them from serving by the glass a 2020 white, which has not stood the test of time and tastes mediocre, to put it mildly. The restaurant offers homemade food (broken eggs, migas, Alpujarran platter) prepared in an artisanal way. I can claim that my pork dish with almond sauce had (quite a lot of) excess oil, but it's not a mortal sin either. Parking is terrible. It's free, granted, but it's a kind of every man for himself situation. It is not limited to guests, so users of nearby rural houses also park there, and, especially late in the afternoon, you have to fend for yourself because, if not, you end up parking in the middle of nowhere, of course outside the premises. In short, it is a good place to rest and disconnect, and the stay will probably be very pleasant if you make a little effort. There are things left to polish, but we already know that the perfect hotel does not exist. And you cannot ask for great luxury from a three-star hotel. Although it is not like they are giving the stay away either: 140 a night for a triple room without breakfast. I leave for last a detail that is not the fault of the villa but of a specific person: a mother who was in the pool with her young son, who still wears diapers, and who allowed him to take them off (nothing to object to there) and urinate from the edge of the pool while she sketched a smile, as if laughing at the joke. Okay, we all know that such young children pee inside the pool, but was it necessary for her to demonstrate it to us so explicitly?

We have a reservation for 3 days.We finally left after 1 night.As a non-refundable bird, we have not returned the money.But stay there is impossible.Renovations in this hotel did not do since the 80s stop.Everything super old, ugly I dirty. Restaurant staff well, I asked a lot of forgiveness for serving the fruit that was not right, but the man myu friendly, really.My partner wanted to have a coffee (paying) before they have broken the restaurant. A fatal experience, really. I do not recommend to anyone this site. It is a theft of money. They have to be waxed, because the jente do not deserve to pay money for all this.
