Hotel Donosti

The cleaning was terrible, they did not do our rooms and we stayed for two days, they only left us one hand towel per person; for hygiene there should be 2, bad smell in the bathroom even though they put a reed diffuser to hide the smell, the bathroom still smelled bad. Pillows were cushions. The door codes would lock every time we wanted to enter. The breakfast was not good quality for what we paid. There were 8 of us friends and we took 4 rooms.

Four couples stayed there for the Donosti Cup weekend; they charged us 5-star prices for a “hotel” that doesn't even reach 1-star quality. They give you no other option but to pay half in advance, and if you cannot go due to any unforeseen event, you lose what you paid. The code keypads lock up constantly. One bath towel per person, plus one hand towel shared with your partner. They did not clean our room any day. Old windows, lacking soundproofing, and old, small curtains that let the light in. Pillows that were cushions. The only person we saw at the hotel (breakfast) was overwhelmed. I would continue, but I think this information is enough not to recommend it, and we certainly would never return.

Catastrophic! Old house converted with about ten rooms. No reception, you must check in online. Then upon arrival, you must fill out a form with your breakfast choice (one choice per person, so not very substantial). No air conditioning, so it is stiflingly hot in the room. No soundproofing, so we enjoyed the noise from others until 2 AM... Broken trash can, light hanging from the ceiling, bacon bar that moves... in short, the building deserves a good renovation! We will not return.
