Hotel Terminus

I booked this place because it was next to the bus and train stations. On coming out of the bus station, the hotel was just across the road and the Tourism Office was just across it. We were early but Anne, the receptionist was very nice. She ask us to leave our luggages with her and to go round town to check in later. This we did but soon realised that the room was on the 1st floor and we have to negotiate 2 flights of stairs to get there. We also found out that the hotel is part of the railway station and as old as it is. The room was a decent room with basic furnishings and the smallest TV I have yet to encounter in hotels I have stayed in anywhere. We could faintly hear trains going by but not intrusive. Next morning, going to catch the bus, we realised that on the same side as the hotel towards the railway station, there is a lift to bring you down to the bus station if you have luggages with you. I did not mind my stay at Hotel Terminus. It is a quiant little place and good enough for a 1 night stay. Best you decide if you also would consider this location which is very budget friendly.

I went one day and had some food, I returned second time and third time after some food was a girl different from the one that I ordered food and told me I am not allowed to go to the toilet. She said the day before I did not greet her and she knows me coming and going in the bar. Very proud said that no chance to complain because she is the supervisor. I told her that I am on holidays and I don't know know her being the reason why I did not talk to her. Awful experience.

Hotel Terminus is a quiet, even though next to railway an bus terminal, place to stay in San Sebastian. Friendly, polite staff, a Cantina Bar attached for ease of drink and food (some pintxos), 10minutes or so from Kursall Concert Hall and another 5 or so to pintxos nirvana. Clean, lots of closet space and cross the street and you are on way along riverwalk to shopping and centro San Sebastian minutes away. only drawback no elevator for those require it. I will stay there again on my next visit in November.
