Hotel Olatu

This is the 2nd stay at the Olatu , last time ten years ago. Yes the rooms are compact but have everything you need. Very clean. Excellent value for money and in a great location. We will be back

I stayed in this hotel, the heating did not work, the next day I went out for a run and my unpleasant surprise when I go to shower is that there is no hot water, both the pressure and the temperature of the tap are blocked, I suppose to save water and gas. A shame, I have made the relevant claim although I am sure that it will be of no use, taking into account the excuses that have been given to me when I went to claim.

This hotel is very basic but well located for the beach and old town. Not bad value but please factor in that there or NO FREE BREAKFAST which is advertised on Tripadvisor and various booking sites. There is quite a lot of noise from the halls and stairs at night / early morning. There is a hairdryer but this in very ineffective. Air con works ok though.
