Convento Aracena

We took the guided tour with Jonathan and it was an exceptional experience. In addition to discovering the history of the convent, we were able to appreciate some spectacular facilities, carefully restored and decorated with a sober elegance, in perfect harmony with the essence of the building. The whole complex conveys peace and respect for this very special place. Jonathan does not just explain the history, he lives it and conveys it from the heart. His passion, involvement, and affection for the convent make the visit very enriching on a cultural level and, at the same time, very personal and pleasant on a human level. Highly recommended.

Hotel very well located, wonderful reception staff, and the breakfast buffet is very good, but the cleanliness is poor, dust on the tables from a long time ago. Dirty bathtubs, very dirty glass shower doors regardless of whether the water's hardness stains them; if they were cleaned at least after each use, they would be clean. The bed and room in general had ants, the dresser was stained from a previous guest, the carpets were dirty, there was dirt under the bed, and dust on the walls..... The pool was acceptable, the spa was very nice, although small, and the common areas and everything else were very good. I would not recommend it, nor would I return.

Would have given a 5 but a few shortcomings. No wash clothes. They give you some tissues in a packet but no tissue boxes. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower. No soap but yes small plastic bidder if body wash. No grilled vegetables at breakfast. My gluten free gf was not happy. No omelets at breakfast. Earliest dinner reservation at 8:30. Took forever to get our dinner since short staffed. Reception was great. Helped with our luggage. Parking inside the hotel is extra.
