Dunas de Donana Golf Resort

We stayed for 4 days on a full board basis, and the facilities, proximity to the beach, and treatment from the hotel staff were very good. But the food leaves much to be desired; it is not just bad, it is worse, cold, mushy, and tasteless. I hope the hotel sees all the reviews and makes a good change in the kitchen.

We went from Friday to Sunday and there were 25 of us. From the moment we entered, they organized the tables in the dining room for us to eat all together, the staff was very, very friendly. The food was varied and good, the facilities for the price it has are quite good (considering we are in July, other apartment hotels are much more expensive), it is very close to the beach, the entertainer with the kids was great, and the adult activities and pool were also super competent. It has been a positive experience, and I will repeat, it has things to improve, but you can't ask for everything, something cheap and luxury facilities, it doesn't exist…

It has been a regrettable experience. At the entrance, we were not informed that we had to go to another hotel for lunch and dinner the next day, which I find incredible after having paid for a full board for two and being there. They told us that we had to move to another hotel that is 1 km from ours. The next day the food was terrible; we did not have a buffet, it was a first and a second course to choose from, after having paid. At night we went to the other hotel. But the next day before we left, we went down for breakfast and it was closed; they sent us back to the other hotel, which we did not do because it seemed embarrassing, so we missed breakfast when they told us that breakfast would be served at the hotel and not at the other one. The experience has been very bad; I had to file a complaint because the room seemed unsustainable. Lack of organization and the buffet was the most basic it could be. Regrettable. And on top of that, they close the hotel on Sundays and there is no one at the reception for anything that might happen; you have to call an emergency phone number. I have never seen that before 😅
