Apartamentos Sol Bahia

After reading the previous reviews about crisp eating and no vibe I was a little worried about booking this hotel (we usually stay at Marina Playa in the bay) but my husband and I took a chance and stayed at Sol Bahia for the first time in late Sept. We are totally glad we did! It’s a fantastic small hotel, with water and sunset views. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. This is absolutely not a party hotel and the staff make a point of telling you that. Soft music plays in the bar and by the pool and the general ambience is calm and peaceful. If you want party Wiki Woo is 2 mins away… That said we did play some music in the room while we got dressed and came in quite late (4am) without any bother plus there was a large hen party there who were drinking and having fun by the pool whiteout any issues from the hotel. We had a gorgeous side sea view apartment which was spacious, light and quiet. The bathroom and kitchen were spacious also. The bedroom is completely separate from lounge with a door so it can be shared with privacy. Iron and mini ironing board and kettle and full kitchen facilities were provided. Hair dry wasn't great so bring your own. Safe and pool towels are available with a deposit. Lots of beds poolside including two big soft fixed double beds however all the umbrellas are fixed so I would image in the heat if the summer season this might be an issue if you wanted lots of shade. Food was reasonably priced and tasty, you can buy crisps at the bar and can eat them at your sunbed. However, they do have a rule about eating meals at your sunbed to keep the pool and bar areas to clean and tidy which is fair enough. There are good restaurants and bars 3 mins walk away and the small beach with safe swimming is also a 3 min walk. Main San Antonio is a 15/20 min walk and Mambos about 10 mins. You can get a taxi. It’s not adults only though so expect children (albeit quite ones). We will 100% return. Although do check the building work next door which is starting in Oct 2026 is finished when you book in 2027.

Hotel on arrival beautiful, great location. Would normally stay at palladium hotel palmyra, but thought this hotel would be same vibe. Unfortunately this has not been the case, lack of atmosphere around the pool is zero. No music provided by hotel unless in the building. So if wanting a hotel with Ibiza ambiance , this is not the one for you. When in Ibiza a sunbathing getting excited for your day:evening you need a vibe a you don’t get that at this hotel. A dare you eat crisp at the poolside after spending a 4 figure sum in only 2 days I think is appalling. Came as a group of nurses, doctors, lawyers and accountants. So not wild young adults

We are currently here now and I wanted to post to say if you’re on the fence then book it! The rooms are perfect, view incredible, people are so friendly. The pool photos don’t do it justice and the restaurant food is spot on, varied and a good price. I could relax here all day every day! Perfect location and easy to get taxis and walk to places like mambo and the bus station. we will absolutely be back.
