Hotel Garbi Ibiza and Spa

Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel itself. The rooms were clean, the facilities were nice, and we had no complaints regarding the property or hygiene. Unfortunately, our experience with one receptionist completely changed our final impression. The receptionist working the morning shift, with brown hair and glasses, was one of the most unfriendly and disrespectful hotel employees we have ever encountered. We were simply bringing some luggage belonging to my partner’s sister to our room for around three hours. She could not stay at the same hotel because bookings are only accepted from five nights. For us, coming from Switzerland, temporarily storing luggage in a room we had paid for seemed completely normal. We had absolutely no intention of bringing an additional person into the room or taking advantage of the hotel in any way. We would have even been happy to pay a fee just to store the luggage safely. Nevertheless, the way the receptionist spoke to us made us feel like irresponsible party tourists in Ibiza trying to sneak someone into the hotel. We explained the situation honestly and remained respectful, but there was no willingness to have a normal conversation. Her response was essentially just “no, no, no.” We fully respect hotel policies, but there is a difference between enforcing rules and treating paying guests with suspicion and disrespect. Offering to leave personal and potentially valuable luggage near the entrance, accessible to other people, was not an acceptable solution for us. What disappointed us even more was the checkout. We actually went to the same receptionist, which would have been the perfect opportunity to clear things up professionally. Instead, she deliberately walked away from us and completely ignored us without even making eye contact. It is a shame because we genuinely liked the hotel. Unfortunately, the behaviour of one employee left a very negative final impression on what otherwise would have been a great stay. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because hospitality is also about how guests are treated.

Excellent hotel, the food is high quality, the staff is adorable, special mention for Ali in the restaurant, very helpful and professional.

The location it’s absolutely perfect The atmosphere in the hotel it’s just want you need after some long nights out The room was really nice as well Definitely value for money As for cleaning it was spotless everyday 10/10 Noise level it’s perfect , if you want a hotel where you can relax after some good party’s here is the perfect place to do it . The pool is really nice , you can rent a bed as well for a really good price the music is so chill and good and after 4 pm there is a dj who played really nice as well . Service was impeccable as well I have nothing bad to say about the hotel . Everyone and everything was really good . We stayed for 7 days and I have nothing bad to say about anything . Food whose it’s perfect as well . It’s just a very nice hotel . We are definitely coming back next year .
