Apartamentos Club Paradise Beach - All inclusive

Lovely few days at the Barcelo Portinatx for our honeymoon. We had a lovely greeting and the hotel kept us some food back as we didn’t arrive until around 1am. The food is lovely and the service is great, definitely good value for money with the lunch and cocktail menu included in all inclusive. We would stay again!

Despite all the efforts to refresh the original seventies structure, the hotel remains labyrinthine and a bit cramped. The 2 modestly sized pools will not allow you to swim laps, but they will allow you to cool off. The beach below—a few steps away by crossing the dead-end street—is not the best that Ibiza has to offer. That said, the rooms are equipped with very pleasant small balconies or terraces and comfortable bedding. The "sea" views offered are mostly lateral. You will find the calm of the concept and quiet guests. Attentive staff (thanks to Julia, Manuel, and Sébastien for their assistance), available lounge chairs, which is not that common! A truly high-quality, well-maintained buffet completes the array for a successful, relaxing stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We had a lovely superior room with sea view. The staff were all fantastic: warm welcome at reception, help with our bags up to the room, friendly maid service replacing towels every day (not requested), friendly service at breakfast. My only suggestions for improvement are that 1) there should be somewhere better to hang used towels, and 2) the room key system is awful! IYKYK, but single-use plastic threads through a one-way toggle really doesn't work, because if (as happens) you catch a thread and it tightens round your wrist it has to be cut off before it stops your blood supply! Also the staff at reception seem to have to spend an inordinate time threading new keys. Our overall view though was very positive, and we are intending to come back here next year.
