We ended up here almost by accident—a delayed flight cost us our connection—and it turned out to be one of our favourite stays in Ibiza, out of four hotels on the island. Two nights, in the last room available (a second-floor accessible room with a double bed), and it still landed near the top. That tells you something. It sits right next door to a hotel that badly disappointed us, which only sharpened the contrast. Els Pins is clean, modern, and genuinely well-designed. The open-plan lobby flows straight into the bar, the pools and the common spaces, and that openness makes the whole place feel alive and welcoming rather than like a lobby you pass through. We were greeted with cava, and check-in was friendly, quick and seamless. The room leaned heavily into white furnishings and decor, but it still felt inviting. My only ambience note is that I'd have liked warmer lighting and a few accent colours to make it pop. It overlooked the largest pool and had a nice balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room cooled beautifully, and it was easy to move around. And the minifridge prices were shockingly reasonable — a Coke was about €5, where the hotel we'd just left charged over €10 for the same thing. The bathroom was unusual: the shower and toilet sat inside a large glass room with privacy tint — I'm not sure if that's every room or specific to the accessible layout. It was spacious, with great water pressure and properly hot water. Two small drawbacks: there were no towel rods inside to dry your towels, so we ended up using the balcony rod that's clearly meant for swim and pool towels, and the bathroom amenities, while nice, were too strongly scented for me. The hotel has three pools. The main one is spacious, with ledges to sit on, plenty of loungers and umbrellas, and a pool bar—though I'll be honest, it served the worst piña colada I've ever had and pool attendants could do a better job to clean up around the area from leftover drinks. There's a much smaller pool by the tennis court (yes, there's a tennis court) with a swim-up bar we never once saw anyone use. And then our favourite: a pool down on the beach, tucked under pine trees—quieter, less crowded, with a lovely view. The beach directly in front of the hotel is fine; walk about five minutes to the left and you reach a nicer one fronting a hotel just up the street. Staff throughout were friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was ample and the selection was huge — a real spread of cheeses, breakfast meats, and eggs done just about any way you'd want, plus a big range of drinks and a modern, comfortable seating area. The crowd of the hotel was also more of a young professionals, few families and some more mature guests. We toured the spa and genuinely regretted not having time to use it: steam room, sauna, cold plunge, pool and a meditation lounge, with very reasonable rates whether you book the circuit on its own or as part of a package. Two drawbacks worth flagging honestly. First, housekeeping stops at 5pm, and unlike other hotels, Els Pins doesn't notify you if they couldn't service the room or invite you to arrange a later time—and there's no turndown service, which other 4-star properties in the area do offer. If you're out partying until 7am and sleeping into the afternoon, you can miss housekeeping entirely. Second, the entrance: cars can't reach reception, so you're walking about a minute from the street to the property. For a large family or anyone with real luggage, that's a lot to haul in and out, and when we asked about meeting our driver another way, we were told there wasn't one. It's a genuine oversight. None of that undid the stay. Els Pins is what a 4-star should feel like—clean, considered, well-run, and warm—and it's an easy recommendation.

A lovely hotel. Very clean and the pool and beach area is lovely. We ate in the restaurant every morning for breakfast and the food was fantastic. We got a glass of fizz on arrival and a complimentary bottle for my hen in the room. Would 100% return

Modern hotel, beautiful design of the furnishings, surrounded by a large well-kept garden and 2 swimming pools. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful in providing all the information. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, equally excellent buffet dinner. Spacious, clean room with a large balcony and a big glass wall, making it very bright. With a 30-minute walk, you could reach the center of the lively town of San Antoni. The most beautiful beaches, Comte, Tarida, Bassa, Saladeta, are about a 30-minute drive from the resort. Augusto
