Grupotel Santa Eulalia and Spa

This is a lovely hotel, nice clean accommodation, friendly staff and the food was excellent. It was only the pool side that let it down. There weren't enough sun loungers. They were all taken by around 10.30am. This meant that if we wanted to go out for a trip in the morning (which we only did twice) we knew we wouldn't get a lounger when we got back. It took the shine off the holiday.

We stayed here in early May, and it was a mix of older and younger couples. We had a groundfloor terrace room with a living space and extra bathroom. It was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet had a good offering of hot food (omelettes cooked to order were decent), and cereals, fruit, meats and cheese, etc. It is quite a large restaurant so it didn't feel like we were squished beside people for breakfast. It's about a 15 minute walk in to Santa Eularia. There is also quiet beach 10 minutes walk away with a beach bar/restaurant. There are small shops and a larger supermarket nearby, about 5 min walk away. The staff were welcoming and helpful. It was pretty easy during that week to get a taxi without a long wait. It's about 25 minutes in a taxi to Ibiza town. The pool area was very clean, although probably not enough loungers. The hotel was quiet enough during our stay, and is not a party hotel which suited us.

Enjoyed a very relaxing week with family (two kids over 18). The hotel is spotlessly clean with very comfortable rooms. We stayed half board and really enjoyed the variety and quality of both the breakfasts and dinners. The pool area was calm and we could always find sunbeds (we always went late afternoon). We used the spa facilities some afternoons and pretty much had the place to ourselves. A lovely spot, a nice stroll into the marina area or in the opposite direction a very pretty walk along the coast path to Es Niu Blau beach (about 10 mins) or all the way to Punta Arabi hippy market and Es Canar. I would say this is a relatively quiet hotel, so if you are looking for more activities/night life it might not be best suited for you. Santa Eularia itself has a nice beach, plenty of shops, plenty of bars in the marina and is a lovely place to stroll around and along the riverbank and up to Puig de Missa for good views.
