Ibiza Rocks House At Pikes Hot

When we arrived at Pikes, the first thing reception do is put a sticker over your camera lens to stop you taking pictures ,which is fine. next we headed up to the restaurant, which was probably a third full. We stood by the wait to be seated sign. The staff could see us but did nothing for five minutes When we finally got seated, first thing that the server said was welcome Pikes we need your table in two hours time Our table was booked for 8.30, but on the e mail I received from Pikes when I made the booking, was the table was ours for 2 1/2 hours which would be 11 o’clock. 10.30 comes, I need your table now, so we literally had to leave straight away. We made our way to the pool area where we sat at a table and the waiter brought the drinks menu. It was so dark that I took the sticker of my camera so I could turn the light on to read the menu which then I was reprimanded for thinking I was taking a picture. Absolute joke.

It is difficult to describe Pikes. It's a magical, spawling hacienda where you are treated like family. I was part of a group who stayed across 6 rooms in July 2026 to celebrate two 50th birthdays. The service from start to finish was excellent. We made a few enquiries before the visit - about club tickets to 528 and arranging a birthday cake and always received a prompt and friendly reply. Check-in was smooth and efficient and I had a great room - one of the garden suites. It was huge with a re-furbished bathroom and great outdoor space with table and chairs. However - one of of group had a standard double and that was great too - a good size and really quiet - even though it was nearer to the club. And it budget is a concern I wouldn't worry too much about paying for a more expensive room. The breakfast is amazing - I was expecting a few soggy croissants but there was a great selection of freshly cooked options including smoked salmon, avocado and eggs, full English etc. And the service was excellent - shout out to Dominic and the beautiful blonde waitress (sorry I didn't get your name). A glass of cava with breakfast would be a welcome addition but we just bought bottles and that was fine. Day times around the pool with cocktails, cold beers and the DJ was magical. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. They would take your drink order or bar service was speedy and for Ibiza I found the prices in Pikes were very reasonable. You are staying in the middle of a nightclub but treated like VIPs and security are on it - I always felt completely safe. When we came back from 528 security greeted us with 'welcome home' - it made our night! The hotel were always on it to arrange taxis etc and nothing was too much trouble. The other guests were super friendly, tended to be a similar demographic and we have made friends for life. If you want a soulless 5 star hotel with a marble bathroom then this isn't the place for you. If you want exceptional service, a quirky interior and to feel like one of the family then book Pikes. After my experience at the hotel I would never stay anywhere else.

Terrible cold food This place is living on past reputation, not worth the effort of visiting The DJ in the Marrakesh area was a real tool
