Palacio de Mengibar

We are a group of friends from Murcia who spent a few days at the Palacio de Mengibar Our stay has been very pleasant thanks to the hotel staff, especially María, the dining room manager. Just one observation, the hotel management is missing a bathrobe to use the wonderful spa they have. Everything is very clean.

We stayed from May 11 to May 13, 2026. The positive aspect was the attention from the staff, while the negative aspect was the lack of maintenance in the room, such as the door leading to a small terrace with a broken lock and old, peeling rubber, cobwebs in a skylight, and furniture of very poor quality for a 4-star rating. The dinner menu was of very low quality; I do not recommend it. In summary, the best part was the employees, and the rest was very improvable for a 4-star establishment.

Very good hotel, we have stayed several times, and in all the rooms we have been in, they are spacious and comfortable; the breakfast buffet is very complete. If we talk about the restaurant, both the €14.50 menu and the à la carte dishes were all very good. If we add to this a spectacular lounge and a maître named Luis with unparalleled attention and kindness, we cannot ask for anything more. Highly recommended
