Rural Los Nogales

We wanted a few days peace and quiet and chose this hotel for its rural position but most importantly for its SPA facilities . The photo of the spa is used on the booking websites although we arrived to find the facilities are unavailable ! but nowhere is the closure announced let alone apologized for ! The hotel itself is beautiful and our suite is lovely , even a log stove should July turn cold 🤣 but I’m sorry it’s unforgivable that a spa hotel closes down the whole facility because a jacuzzi is out of action . When we arrived we had no idea of the closure and there was still nothing on their website or no apology that the entire installation was unavailable . Closed till repair it says yet there is no sign of anyone working on it! I wonder if the business is struggling and shutting down the spa is a good cash saver ? Breakfast average , said up to 10.30 am but when we went down at 10 the hot food was already cold . Staff are lovely despite the problems . The setting is beautiful if it’s rest you need and there is still an open air pool available . Would I return ? Probably not and certainly not before checking the availability Of spa facilities

We were 4 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 8. Junior room more than 800€ 3 nights (charisimo). And another double room for 2 adults almost 500€, well the same. And all in half board, regular breakfast, dinner of the worst, an embarrassment. The rooms are spacious but antique. The bathtub the taps impossible to regulate the temperature, you burn or freeze, super old. The price with quality is expensive. Out of 4 stars, I'd take 1. We're not coming back. There are other cheaper places
