Surprised, and for the worse. We had previously stayed and loved the location, the tranquility, and the environment of the complex. However, on this occasion, the experience was very different. During our stay, renovations were taking place in several areas: in the parking lot, in some rooms, and even in the pool, something we found completely inappropriate for the guests who were staying there. What surprised us the most happened around six in the evening, just after we arrived. Our intention was to change and enjoy a swim, but when we stepped out onto the balcony, we saw a worker inside the pool scraping and cleaning the joints of the tiles at the edge. All the materials and debris were falling directly into the water and to the bottom of the pool. Honestly, I could not believe what I was seeing. It gives the impression that, since there were only two couples staying in the entire complex, it was considered that there was no problem in carrying out those works during the hours of use of the facilities. I hope this comment reaches the owners. I understand that maintenance tasks are necessary, but they should be planned in a way that does not affect the experience of the customers. Profitability is important, but so is respect for those who pay to enjoy facilities in good condition.

Tranquil and comfortable location of the complex, with easy access to the airport. This was actual an advantage given how difficult driving in La Gomera is. No stress after landing, no stress to get there on time. And there are only 4-6 flights a day: 10-1100 in the morning and 17-1800 in the afternoon - regulars from Tenerife. Four-apartment villas face the ocean and Tenerife. I recommend top floor accommodation. Amazing views all day long. Breakfasts in sunshine, but evening chats - in the glorious shade. Apartments are well equipped for holidays. I would add a fan and washing machine, but these would be just cherries on the top. I also recommend wellness services on site. Amazing massages and body treatments. So relaxing and stripping from all stress of pandemic isolation. The small pool has contra flow and it is in fact quite reasonable for middle-aged (hi hi hi) exercising. The up-the cliff location means that we can see the horizon from our terraces and the pool. Amazing. The place is good for staying active. I recommend walking along the cliff path towards west, to observe sunsets. Small shopping can be done in the nearby hotel (mini market) few minutes downhill. If you want all the rest of town pleasures - take staired route down to Playa Santiago. 10 minutes down and 30 minutes up (what an amazing workout). The town is small but with all basic amenities, including a stage for occasional open air performances. The beach is pebbled, but water clear and great to swim in. There is a shower on the beach. There a a number of bars, restaurants and shops. I recommend Tasha Enyesque. It is by the street, not by the beach, but offers genuine gourmet food served in a welcoming La Gomera manner.
