Las Olas

In general, the hotel has one star too many, basically because of the rooms, which are aparthotel-style and very spacious, mind you, but old; the furniture, which is from the 60s, needs to be renovated to make it more modern and cozy. Few outlets, tilted lamps, little light, or poorly synchronized.... On the other hand, the cleanliness is wonderful, there is a good water pressure, and towels are changed daily even though we left them hanging so they wouldn't do it every day. The windows and air conditioning are new. There is no noise from the street. The main building is quite nice with a large dining room, a bar, and a very spacious outdoor terrace that overlooks a huge and very pleasant pool with views of the sea. We never had overcrowding at breakfast or dinner, perhaps because we went early. The food selection was varied, but I don't think the cook was very good... but it was edible. You could always choose something that was tastier. Drinks (and water) are paid for separately, but they were not expensive at all. In conclusion, you can go as long as you don't spend much time in the room.

A beautiful and good hotel. We stayed in the Tenerife block with a beautiful sea view. Spacious room, large and good bed, large refrigerator, coffee machine, and a spacious terrace. Daily new towels in the bathroom. We stayed on half board, breakfast and dinner in buffet form, for everyone's liking and delicious. Super friendly staff that is very helpful. Beach within walking distance, beautiful pool with many comfortable sun loungers. This hotel is a good base to explore the island. Rent a car. This was the second time in Las Olas and we will definitely go back.

It had been, I think, about two and a half years since I last went. I returned again and the experience turned out to be very pleasant, that is, just like the other time. The kindness and even the charm of the staff, from management to the cleaners, caught my attention once again. The rooms were cleaned every day except Sundays. There were two televisions, one in the bedroom and another in the living room; both rooms were large. There were two swimming pools, one of them very large, as well as a paddle tennis court. Breakfasts and dinners were buffet-style and it was very complete. The location is excellent, as it is three kilometers from Santa Cruz de La Palma and a little less from the airport. The area is fabulous, as there are many restaurants and cafes, but it is by no means noisy. About three hundred meters away is the beautiful Los Cancajos beach, with lifeguard service. To finish, I will say that the price/quality ratio is very, very good. A luxury.
