La Casa del Cofrade

Hotel was lovely and simple with everything necessary. The outdoor pool was fabulous and the garden very pleasant. The tour of the bodega was super interesting as they have a facsimile of an ancient hand written and painted manuscript by the original monks who created the vineyard - I was fascinated by that. Alas, the food was not good and we regretted not going down to the village to eat. It was also the first night of a fiesta so the music was hopping until midnight. Both Sara and Jessica were unbelievably friendly and helpful - Jessica even put out a cold breakfast for us as we had to leave early for the ferry. A very welcoming experience.

Everything has been perfect. The cozy hotel, the beautiful winery and the “brutal” wine… but the best, Sara's attention, both in the hotel and during the visit, was exceptional, it shows when a person does things with love and dedication. We will definitely return!!!

We have spent two days at the Hotel and I can only say that we will return. The large and comfortable room as well as the toilet. We loved the decoration, they explained to us that it was by a well-known painter. The breakfast was very good, good sausage, rye bread made exclusively for them from a nearby bakery. Very good orange juice, as well as the croissant, olive oil etc... We breathe a lot of peace, away from the noise of the city. It is 14 minutes from Logroño which is perfect. I thought the town had nothing but they recommended a bar for tapas and dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by the town square with several bars. You have to walk because from the road you can't see what it has. Finally, we would like to thank Jessica who gave us the visit to the winery, her passion for history made us not lose track of it. We will return for the 200 monges anniversary, yes, with G, their star wine. Thank you all
