Fantastic hotel. Spotlessly clean, everything is very grand, the rooms are beautiful and the food is very nice. Only one suggestion, maybe a paella night in the canteen once a week. Entertainment was great, drinks were high quality and service was amazing. Great experience.

This is the first time I’m writing a review while I’m still staying at the hotel. It doesn’t get more honest than that, right? In short: A very good hotel with amazing food, beautiful but slightly dated and rather noisy rooms. The resort is very well maintained, and there’s a huge selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately, the usual “sunbed reservation” with towels happens here too, and the hotel doesn’t seem to do anything about it. The full review: I’ve wanted to stay at this hotel for the past two years, so I was really looking forward to this trip. I booked a Junior Suite and was assigned room 9011. To be honest, I was a little disappointed because it’s very close to the lobby, the main restaurant, the pool, and the walkway to the restaurant. It’s a busy location, so you don’t really get to enjoy the privacy of your balcony. Last night, guests checked into the room above us. There was quite a bit of noise, and that’s when we discovered that the rooms are not very well soundproofed. Listening to children running around above you isn’t exactly relaxing. Now for the positive side: the food is absolutely fantastic. There’s an incredible variety, and it’s definitely worthy of five stars. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all excellent. Every day there’s a wide selection, including fresh pasta, wraps, paella, steak, prawns, and much more. There’s cava, fresh juices, good coffee, and water is available everywhere. The pool bar even serves sandwiches and salads if you somehow get hungry between meals—which honestly feels almost impossible! The coffee there is excellent as well. The staff are friendly, hardworking, and always helpful. A few suggestions for improvement: The hotel asks guests to buy a reusable water bottle that can be refilled. Personally, I think this bottle should be included free of charge. It’s better for the environment, encourages guests to stay hydrated, and benefits the hotel as well. During dinner (between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM), I would also recommend placing water, wine, and cava stations around the restaurant. The waitstaff work incredibly hard, but during busy periods they simply can’t keep up, which sometimes means you’re halfway through your meal before receiving a drink. I would also pay more attention to room allocation. Why not simply ask guests whether they prefer a quiet or a lively location? I’m here with my daughter, and we were hoping for a peaceful stay, yet we were placed in one of the busiest areas of the resort near the family pool. We would have much preferred one of the quieter rooms towards the back, near the adults-only section. After all, we’re paying around €300 per night for a Junior Suite, so we expected a little more consideration. Happy guests are returning guests. I’ll post another update after we’ve tried the à la carte restaurants. Overall, we’re very happy with our stay so far. I’ll update this review at the end of our holiday.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful one-week stay as a family of four (two adults and two children, aged 13 and 6), and once again this hotel exceeded all of our expectations. This was our fourth visit, but our first time booking the Privilege package, and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. The Privilege room was absolutely gorgeous – spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and a real step up from previous stays. As we were all-inclusive, having the complimentary minibar was another lovely touch that made the experience even better. Fresh towels and pillow chocolates each night was a beautiful touch. The Privilege pool was fantastic. It provided a much more relaxed atmosphere, and we spent a lot of time there throughout the week. We also loved the Privilege Lounge. Yes -you serve yourself, but we actually thought that was part of the charm. It was always well stocked, peaceful, and a great place to unwind with a drink or snack. The Volcan restaurant deserves special praise. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day because the food was consistently excellent, with plenty of choice and high quality throughout the week. The staff were incredibly accommodating and even prepared off-menu dishes for our children whenever we asked, which really demonstrated their commitment to making every guest feel looked after. In fact, every member of staff throughout the hotel deserves recognition. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted to make our holiday special. Yes, the hotel is busy, but that’s simply because it’s an outstanding resort in one of the most popular destinations. Despite that, the service never slipped, and the staff should be commended for how well they manage everything. We didn’t bother with any of the à la carte restaurants because the food in the Volcan was so consistently good that we were more than happy to return there each day. Mike’s coffee was 10/10 and the pool bar at lunch was perfect for those who want a burger or hotdog. The evening entertainment was what you’d expect from a family resort, but the animation team really stood out. They went above and beyond to keep the children entertained, and both of ours had an amazing time thanks to their energy and enthusiasm. Our 6 year old had a blast at the daytime and evening activities. We didn’t see any sign of the sunbed wars you dread on these holidays. After four fantastic visits, this hotel continues to impress us, and upgrading to Privilege made this our best holiday here yet. We’ve already decided we’ll be back next year for visit number five, and without a doubt we’ll be booking Privilege again. Could I make comments that some areas had cracked tiles or some needed a fresh lick of paint - well, no! because I’ve better things to occupy myself with on holiday. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality family holiday.
