HOTEL SPA PARIS

I have been staying at the hotel for many years because of the establishment's location, and in all these years I have seen that the rooms are getting worse and worse. Peeling paint, worn floor, air conditioning not cooling, and in the bathroom it is impossible to get the water to come out warm. It burns you or freezes you every 10 seconds. And if you happen to get an interior room, what a mess of a courtyard full of trash they have. I find such negligence incredible.

This was the only 3* as opposed to 4* hotel we stayed in on our tour round N Spain/Portugal, and the difference was obvious. That said, The Paris is a perfectly good hotel and VERY good choice for those wishing to explore old Leon. Rooms are reasonably comfortable but a bit lacking. Only two sockets for charging, and a bit cramped. Bed OK, but nothing special. Breakfast was a bit basic, but decent enough value at 10€. The other thing to mention is that if arriving by car, it's EXTREMELY hard to find and a faff getting into it, caused, it has to be said by the noisy, dusty roadworks in the Calle Ancha. We only stayed for 2 nights and never took the car out until we left, so it was OK, but otherwise it would have been a real pain.

Very good location for spending a night, perfect.
