NH Plaza Mayor

Beautiful, central, easy access. But... unbearable noise from the exhaust fans in room 223. Which is also made by taking advantage of an offset in the floor plan, being small and irregular. It is a shame because both the establishment and the staff are excellent. But certain details must be taken care of, and rest is more than important.

I am very satisfied with my stay at this property; the location in Plaza Mayor means you can easily walk around the historic center. For those traveling by car, the hotel has reserved spaces (for a fee) in an adjacent underground parking garage. The common areas of the hotel are tastefully furnished and cleanliness reigns everywhere. My room overlooked the square, not large, but equipped with every comfort (incidentally, the only place where the TV also broadcast the 3 Rai channels). The restaurant where I had dinner was good, and the breakfast was just as good. The staff is very kind and I really appreciated, at the time of check-out, that guests are gifted a paper bag with the hotel logo containing 2 small bottles of water and a pack of candies; these are small gestures that make the difference.

The cleaning was very poor and there were no hand towels or bath mat. It contrasts with the NH Herencia hotel in Logroño where I stayed the day before and the cleaning was perfect.
