HOTEL AROI PONFERRADA

Hotel in the urban center. Rooms vary greatly in size, but are sufficient for a weekend stay. It is more of a three-star hotel with aspirations. Very slow check-in.

Good location a few minutes walk from the historic center, easy parking near a park, very nice receptionist gave us tips on where to go for tapas and not to miss the center. Very small room, no amenities in bathroom, and little kept bathroom. Super sparse breakfast, very little variety, lets you down for the 12 euros it costs

Very nice hotel near the center in Ponferrada. Very friendly and professional staff. The room is just enough space, and the bathroom is correct, it has a bathtub, it is not very comfortable to enter and exit. Bath amenities, very fair: soap and shampoo. Complimentary bottle of water. The bed is very comfortable, there are plugs in the headboards of the bed, although the lights do not go out from here, so you have to get up to park everything, that could be improved. Good sound insulation, you can not hear either the street or the neighborhood of rooms. Very good rest. It is about 12 minutes walk from the Templar Castle and the historic center. The breakfast buffet very correct for the price, and very well served by the staff. Good value for money. I'd come back. Only question: it has no parking, if you can stop at the door a few minutes to unload, but the car must be parked about 5 minutes walk, in a very economical parking: €8.5 a day, it is worth it.
