Himalaia Baqueira

We have recently returned from our stay at the MIM Hotel and all we can say is WOW!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful with an amazing team that are on hand to make your stay welcoming from the moment you arrive all topped off with a complimentary glass of Cava after a long journey. 

A particular highlight was the porter service taking our skis directly to the locker room so that you can basically ski in & out with the bubble lift taking you straight to the mountain, it’s these offerings that really did elevate our overall experience during our stay. 

The food was excellent and did not disappoint, breakfast was especially impressive, with a wide variety of options including pastries, fruits and cheeses, alongside a hot section where dishes were freshly cooked to order. Dinner option was also amazing again with lots to choose from, let’s put it this way you won’t go hungry!

Our only minor disappointment and it was minor, related to the swimming pool and spa facilities. We had booked this holiday a year in advance and had expected full access to this area as originally advertised. Unfortunately, due to a change of ownership, these facilities were no longer included, and were only provided with just one complimentary one-hour session per person. If you are planning to use the spa facilities, it’s worth noting that there is now an additional charge.

If you’re considering booking this hotel then you will not be disappointed.

Writing this review at 4am where for the 4th night in a row the alarm is incredibly loud in the hallway from someone smoking in their room on a different floor. The service has been extremely slow with wait times of 20-30 minutes to get breakfast. They are understaffed completely. There is a guy who’s job it is to wait in the hotel lobby and upsell you to buy into the hotel brand package and pushing that down your throats that many guests are saying has no real benefits. It has been less than a 2 star experience and the staff are extremely unhelpful. This was a complete waste of money and the service has decreased by so much since last year. get an Airbnb instead for half the price.

Magnificent experience on the slopes. Hotel with very good service and attention, especially highlighting the activity of guides in the ski resort, Juan and Pepo, are great and certainly greatly increase the overall experience. Highlighting the breakfast, which is also very good.
