Hotel La Glorieta

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel la Glorieta, and it was a wonderful experience! The rooms are very spacious with a breathtaking view of the mountains. We had a king-size bed, a bathtub with water with very good pressure. Housekeeping was done every day. The staff is very welcoming, from the receptionists to the bartender, including the service staff. The breakfast is basic, not too much choice, but that was the only small downside of this hotel. The pool is incredible, very pleasant in hot weather, and lounge chairs or tables with ashtrays are available. Ideally located, in the small heights of La Seu d'Urgell, the town is a 15-minute walk away, and the path taken along the Valira River is very pleasant. You will find large shopping centers there for your shopping if necessary. We recommend this hotel with our eyes closed, as it left us with wonderful memories.

I stopped at this hotel on my way from Southern Spain to Andorra - and what a great discovery it was. Conveniently located right along the road to Andorra, it was easy to find without any detours. Although the parking lot in front of the hotel was full, the receptionist kindly directed me to another lot just a few hundred meters away, which was free of charge. The room was spacious and had two large windows with stunning views of the mountains and the river. Breakfast was served next to the outdoor terrace and pool, while the coffee, offered at the bar, was hands down the best breakfast coffee I’ve ever had. The hotel staff were exceptionally professional and welcoming throughout my stay.
