Outside, these days, something very weird, a lot of wind and snow. But when you arrive inside this Hotel-Restaurant, "Castellarnau", in the town of Escaló, province of Lleida, everything changes very well. Great professionals at the reception and in the kitchen.
A menu of 22 €, without wine (glass 2 euros. Bottle 10 euros). All very good.
I tried the gutters today. Very soft, delicious, with that gratin béchamel that covered them generously and that have made me enjoy very much. Secondly, that dish is hard to cook, but when it gets to your mouth it's a gods' pleasure, wild boar civet. Heaven. And for dessert a simple homemade yogurt, also 10, made with milk from Pallars, which was the perfect end.
And remember. Whoever doesn't book doesn't eat.
