Hotel Eo ***

Not a bad hotel for this price and easy to walk to city centre. Parking is on the road and we had to walk a short distance. We booked via Booking.com and when we checked in got the offer to upgrade to a room with a view for an extra 11 Euros, which we did. Good decision! We even got a small balcony overlooking the industrial port. The fitout of the room may have been a bit old-fashioned, but everything was clean. Enough room to put two suitcases and charge all your electronics. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff at reception. We didn’t try their breakfast. The pool wasn’t operational.

Recommended although, yes, if there is no wind, given that the palm tree in front of the hotel is completely abandoned, unpruned for many years. In addition to making a deafening noise, it endangers the safety of anyone passing by. The truth is that it matches, with similar abandon, the municipal gardens located right in front of the hotel.

We were in that place in August, the ambient music transports you to another era but did not clash with the set on stage. The lady at the reception was very nice and attentive. The cleaning service was very willing and friendly. If we talk about parking, it is free as long as you find a place on the street; because they don't have them. If we talk about a swimming pool, they don't have one according to the receptionist. Although from the terrace we saw one with crystal clear waters and the name of the hotel engraved in tiles at the bottom. We couldn't access it because it didn't belong to the hotel. That was a surprise. The air conditioning worked, but did not cool. Nothing at reception after eleven at night. The older man at the reception is unpleasant, if he doesn't serve the public better.
