Oca Villa de Sarria

Sarria was our starting point of the Santiago Way and, despite the SANTIAGO WAYS have given us a bad service, the Sarria hotel was very good: well located, pleasant staff, spacious and clean rooms, new bathrooms, towels and sheets of good quality and coffee shop very good too. Oh a pity the hotel doesn't offer dinner.

Cleanliness and comfort of the room: Good cleaning. Average room spaces but with no area for evening “laundry” if you are doing the Fireplace. Quality of management and staff (Welcoming, helpfulness) Excellent Welcoming and easy access, polite and helpful staff, mainly use of Spanish. Infrastructure and services (catering, common areas, comfort, Wi-Fi) Average breakfast but no gluten-free options. Absence of usable common areas Excellent internet connection. No restaurant. Location: in the center of the village, great for starting the Camino da Sarria. Value for money. Medium.

Great location as the Camino Frances is within sight of the front door. Hotel doesn’t look much on the outside but the room was very clean and the bathroom looked newly fitted. The female receptionist was lovely and gave me a map showing me how to walk along the river for Restuarants (very close!) and where the Camino started for etc. Five stars for her! Breakfast was standard for a budget hotel.
