We chose this hotel because it was out of the city centre , but also close to a metro stop, and for that it is perfect with just a few stops taking you into the heart of Madrid on line 2. The hotel is well run with friendly staff, we arrived 3 hours before check in asking if we could leave our bags somewhere safe but were told rooms were ready now and could book in no problem.
The room itself was perfect, we took the top floor with the city views , very large with a comfy bed. There was a large TV with no English channels , a wall safe ( for which there was a 10 euro deposit )
Breakfast was just right, continental buffet, with scrambled eggs bacon & mushrooms added, coffee was by 2 machines.
All in all we both have a great stay, and if we ever came back to this wonderful city, we would stay here again.

First visit to Madrid and this is a lovely hotel . Staff were very helpful and pleasant .No information in rooms about what amenities the hotel have and they didn’t tell us where the lifts were or where to go for breakfast until we asked . Breakfast was continental with the addition of scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms Cereal . Cheese, cold meat boiled eggs croissants ,toast ,pain au chocolat ,and fruit . So there was a good selection
.This was served in the cafeteria which was open for breakfast ( different times depending on day of week) then it was open until 2 pm .After that there was nothing ,no restaurant or bar . There was a roof terrace which had so e chairs with a few sail covers to get some shade but it was nothing extinguished except to see the view. It was 5 minute walk to a shopping centre and the metro station .There were a fair amount of eating places in the shopping centre. The metro was so convenient and easy to use to get into the centre of Madrid in 10/15 mins . Trains ran every few minutes so really no waiting time at all .Really cheap as well You can buy a card for a couple of Euros then top it up as needed .Think it was about 8 euros for 20 journeys so really good value. We used it twice a day in and out and you could use it from station to station once in the centre as long as you used the same colour Line .The hotel was on the red line .
Highly recommend any to have a visit to Retiro park ( station is on red line) It’s beautifully kept and so much to see in it .There is also a fascinating food market well worth a visit. .All in all a lovely hotel and in a great spot for the metro. Madrid is a beautiful city .
