Hostal Avenida

This is a brilliantly located Hostal . Literally 5 minutes walk to one of the many local sights. We would normally stay in hotels and waa bit nervous of the word hostal. But it is soooooo beyond exvellent fera not . The room and entire communal areas are spotless. The staff are so friendly and should be very proud that all their hard work is visable and appreciated . They are all very friendly and truly you feel so relaxed and rested in this hostal even at 35dgrs outdoors their AC worked a treat and the small fridge in room was a super touch ! Hostal Aveneda offers location, cleanliness, friendliness ans value for money all in equal measure amd that measure is 10/10.

Convenient solution located on the Gran Via just a stone's throw from the main attractions of the center and the Sevilla metro station. Small but fully functional bathroom. Modern and well maintained structure. Useful solution for short stays.

Structure on the 4th floor with lift of an old building in Madrid with 24-hour concierge service. In a very central position that allows you to visit Madrid and its attractions on foot (even for those who aren't really great walkers), it is close to bars, restaurants, fast food outlets and supermarkets, bus and metro stops just a few meters away, always reachable on foot, with bus 203 from the airport (cost 5 euros payable on the bus) whose stop, Cibeles, is about 500m away. Good cleaning with more or less daily change of towels. My room, decidedly small but nothing different from what was advertised, had a window facing inward and to have my privacy I kept the shutter down. Not very soundproofed (I was lucky because during my stay there were no particularly noisy guests) with a new bathroom (no bidet) in which there were shampoo and shower gel. The room was equipped with air conditioning, excellent WiFi, TV only with national channels, There is also a safe which I did not use but which apparently costs 1 euro per day. Considering that there are so many things to do in Madrid, if you are looking for minimal accommodation at a reasonable price you can opt for this hostal which is not a hostel as mistakenly reported by some but rather a pension.
