KM1 San Bernardo Apartments

The flat that we've booked was clean, nice and spacious. Really quiet and a great location! Exactly next to the metro station and reaallyyyy close to Grand Via. Free internet and kitchen equipment are available, very near to super markets, cafe shops and bars. A very nice location! I would surely recommend it!

What a great apartment this could be we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment in this block it was central, spacious good bed and lovely bathroom.The lounge very sparse 2 easy chairs would fix that Then the poor kitchen.The picture I saw of the coffee maker and 2 cups and saucers we didn't have cups and saucers we had 1 mug and 1 very badly cracked mug no jug and no micro wave. The first morning I boiled water in a saucepan and had my coffee then did the same thing so my husband could have his coffee.I will have to say we did get in touch with the booking agent and by the end of the first second day we did have a micro wave and new mug and a medium sized saucepan/.There was a very badly scratched fry pan which I didn't want to use and a very small saucepan the first nights dinner was a challenge.There was no tea towel but we were told the Spanish don't use them just leave their washing up to drain.With such little cost this place could be so great

Stayed in these apartments in Nov this year. They were very centrally-located, and clean. There is still some building work on the site, which we were not told about. This did not bother us too much as we did not spend too much time in the apartment. We paid a small price for these as we booked so late, and taking into account how close we were to the Gran Via, I though this was very cheap and good value. Within the apartment there is a small hob, with two electric rings, and a pots, pans, plates and cutlery but no oven or microwave. This meant that cooking was nigh on impossible, so don't plan on doing this if you stay here. The bathroom was very clean but the shower uses water from an immersion heater, which means the water only stays hot for about 5-10 mins, then you have to wait for it to heat up again. This was not very pleasant. The room we booked was meant for 6, however there was only one bedroom with a double bed. There were two sofas in the main room which could be pulled out to make beds. I don't think the room was big enough, or private enough, for 6 people. There were 4 of us, and it was just big enough. Overall, I was happy staying here, as there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants, as well as bus and Metro stops within a few mins walk. I would recommend to others.
