VELAZQUEZ

Very good location, Salamanca neighborhood, very nice area of Madrid. The rooms are very good, comfortable beds, spacious, very good cleanliness. The breakfast we enjoyed very much. There are rooms with very small showers, I recommend requesting those with larger shower. The cost is high, but within the city prices that are generally high, price-quality is very good.

What a disappointment! A tiny room with a tiny window where the day doesn't even pass because of a filter on the glass. When I open the window I have a view of a courtyard with a smell of cooking because of the evecuations of air from a restaurant next door! It is impossible to ventilate after a shower and the room is all fogged up because there is no vmc. The bed creaks, the cushions are very hard. No insulation, we hear the toilet and shower of neighbor d next door and above, people talking in hallway c is as if they were in the room. Huge disappointment!

The Mexican guy from reception seems to me not to be the ideal person to receive guests. I am 78 years old and I was coming from my flight from Mexico; I filled my thermos with water with orange slices from the container they have at reception. This kid told me I SHOULDN'T because that water wasn't exclusively for me, which was for all guests. I was offended, never anywhere had I been restricted from using water to drink.
