Arriadh Hotel

Mouldy bathroom, no ventilation, used flip-flops in a mouldy basket... It's just downright awful.

This quaint bed and breakfast located a short drive from/to Ronda was the perfect place to stay during our visit. The owners are very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.

Arriadh hotel is set in the hills above the little town of Arriate and it is absolutely gorgeous. The views are stunning . Jon & Wilbert, the owners, were amazing hosts, so friendly and chatty and seemed to take a genuine interest in their guests. Breakfast was delicious. There was always fruit, ham, cheese, bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, cakes and coffee available and Jon said if we fancied anything else then just ask . We never had to ask because it was always fabulous. Jon & Wilbert asked if we would like to join the shared dinner on our first night . We are so glad we did because their home cooked food was outstanding . Our starter was the most delicious gazpacho soup with boiled egg & ham, followed by the most tender roast pork, baked potatoes with cheese, roasted carrots in honey and chorizo sausage. Dessert was fresh strawberries, fresh cream & ice cream and coffee. All 3 courses were only €35 per head- an absolute bargain! The pool area is perfect with amazing views across the valley and so peaceful. Our room had a lovely little balcony . The shower was great and the bed very comfortable. I hadn’t realised when we booked to stay here that there was no air con and had I noticed then I probably wouldn’t have booked which would’ve been our loss. The rooms did feel a little warm at times but not uncomfortable. A big fan was provided in each room and if you opened the doors on evening before retiring then fresh air would circulate around the room. I am glad I didn’t notice there was no air con or we would have missed staying at this very special place. We will definitely stay here again when we next visiting the area .
