Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport

We had an excellent stay at Malaga Holiday Inn. We knew it would be tricky to arrive as a family of 5 but the taxi system was working well and we hopped into a large people carrier in no time. We were greeted warmly and our rooms were prepped and ready for us. Very clean, very comfortable, we had a great nights sleep, breakfast was perfectly fine, lots of choice, and just a 2 min walk to the car hire. Check out is at 12pm so that was an added bonus. Recommended!

A good hotel with extremely friendly staff. Perhaps not in the best location, but absolutely recommendable for 2-3 nights. The airport bus stops almost at the entrance! Very, very clean and tidy. Sometimes the outer impression can be misleading! Rooms and bathrooms are new, and the air conditioning is great! Dinner is available as a buffet and à la carte. We would gladly come back!!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport and, overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The hotel is exactly what you would expect from a budget airport hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and very standard, matching the description provided when booking. One of the biggest drawbacks is the location and access from the airport. I ended up walking to the hotel, and the route was far from ideal. It involves walking alongside a busy main road, which did not feel particularly safe, especially with luggage. It is a shame that the hotel does not provide a shuttle service or a dedicated pedestrian walkway, as this would make a significant difference for guests arriving at the airport. On a positive note, the food was enjoyable, and there were cold refreshments available throughout the day and into the evening, which was appreciated after travelling. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money and serves its purpose well as an airport stopover. While it is not somewhere I would describe as exceptional, it delivers what it promises at a reasonable price.
