Hotel Don Paco

We chose this hotel mainly for its location, which turned out to be excellent: very close to the station and therefore very convenient for both transportation and reaching the center of Malaga on foot. The reception staff was always friendly and helpful, and we also greatly appreciated the daily cleaning of the room. A point in favor definitely goes to the bathroom, modern, functional, and with a very comfortable shower. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively affected by room 104. The room was really too dark: practically no natural light comes in, and it feels like being in a closed environment all the time. Moreover, the air conditioning did not seem to work properly; despite being set to 17°C, the temperature remained quite high. We also noticed a musty smell that did not contribute to the comfort of our stay. We also tried the breakfast on the last day before check-out (€9.50 per person) and we were satisfied: good variety and adequate quality. Overall, a very good establishment for location, cleanliness, and courtesy of the staff, but I would recommend paying more attention to some rooms, particularly regarding brightness, ventilation, and air conditioning.

Beautiful hotel, close to everything, very comfortable and spacious rooms. The breakfast is spectacular and very complete. There is a gluten-free section. It has a pool, so if it is hot, it is ideal. The only thing to mention is that the staff is somewhat unfriendly, but I completely recommend it.
