The hotel is a place where peace is evident as soon as you arrive; you can swim, eat, read, and enjoy. The staff is lovely, a place where you disconnect from daily life and noise. My congratulations; after the comments, I had some doubts, and as a professional in the sector, I recommend it. Thank you, Miguel, for everything; it has been an incredible few days.

I hosted a retreat in Hotel Humaina. Our group of 9 all loved the Hotel. The price/quality relation is very good. The food is excellent, rooms are spacious and the staff is super friendly. If you like a rustic, rural family atmosphere to relax in nature, you will love this hotel. You will wake up with bird songs, and have nice walking trails nearby.

Stayed for one night: Pros Remote location with hiking routes nearby Non touristy In a national park Room was the suite, very lovely authentic Spanish style with opening windows. Cons NO WIFI! It connects but no service as in the mountains won’t load Google pages ect. NO PHONE SERVICE either Swimming pool wasn’t operational no water in it. No drinking water from taps nor any provided Must have car. Very very remote. 5km drive down lane to get to hotel from main road on the top of a mountain around 40 mins into the mountains from Malaga. Breakfast not included €9 for basic breakfast (fruit, cheap ham and cheese, toast and cereal and one type of plain yoghurt. We did not have breakfast. I ordered homemade croquettes starter and it was frozen in the middle. When I complained they didn’t speak much English. I didn’t want it replacing and I still got charged €4 Food poor, but cheaply priced. Lack of options. Had three tapas, cheese was good. Chicken and chips over cooked and croquette raw/frozen. Lack of pudding options or sweet treats. No coffee in rooms. Coffee €2.40 from bar. English menu was difficult to read and didn’t translate properly. Walls are paper thin. Crying babies woke us up at 6am so we got up and left to go for a sunrise drive we returned and went back to bed. We were rudely awoken by the room cleaners who played music loudly as they cleaned the neighbouring rooms so we didn’t get any more sleep till we checked out at 11 Ended up playing our own music to drown out their music.
