La Posada Morisca

We loved the place, lost in the mountains a bit after Frigiliana... the view is superb, the place is super cozy, the tranquility is supreme... ah, the nap in the hammock with a view of the town.... The rooms are small, but that's not a problem... The breakfast is simple but very pleasant with that view.... The only downside might be the very narrow and winding little road to get there... but it is relatively well marked (to get there, less so for the return...) Our only regret is having stayed only one night!

Fantastic view, clean, cozy Super nice hostess Pool is perfect Rest all around Those who want to relax, this is highly recommended! Near Nerja (20 minutes by car), Frigiliana the beautiful white village and Malaga also easily accessible by car (60 minutes)

Without doubt the property has a standout location overlooking the valley and Frigiliana. It's marketed as a boutique hotel but in reality it's an old farmhouse which is a tad neglected around the edges. Some of the loungers were broken, The loo by the pool had no seat, dog poo on the lawn, the TV had no way of putting English sub titles on - not a serious problem but when you come back after a long day of hiking its nice sometimes to chill and watch a little TV before bed - . Nothing super serious but niggles nevertheless. The folks who own the hotel are lovely hosts and very helpful. So, basically my main concern was the word "boutique". Somehow one expects a little more. A good holiday was spent there nevertheless. Thank you, and good luck with the USA wedding!
