Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport

A good hotel with extremely friendly staff. Perhaps not in the best location, but absolutely recommendable for 2-3 nights. The airport bus stops almost at the entrance! Very, very clean and tidy. Sometimes the outer impression can be misleading! Rooms and bathrooms are new, and the air conditioning is great! Dinner is available as a buffet and à la carte. We would gladly come back!!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport and, overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The hotel is exactly what you would expect from a budget airport hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and very standard, matching the description provided when booking. One of the biggest drawbacks is the location and access from the airport. I ended up walking to the hotel, and the route was far from ideal. It involves walking alongside a busy main road, which did not feel particularly safe, especially with luggage. It is a shame that the hotel does not provide a shuttle service or a dedicated pedestrian walkway, as this would make a significant difference for guests arriving at the airport. On a positive note, the food was enjoyable, and there were cold refreshments available throughout the day and into the evening, which was appreciated after travelling. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money and serves its purpose well as an airport stopover. While it is not somewhere I would describe as exceptional, it delivers what it promises at a reasonable price.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, because we arrived on a very late night flight. It is a bit difficult to find the hotel when driving to the airport, even though it is very close. The hotel has free parking. And even though all the parking lots were occupied, the staff made an effort and found a free space, and for that we thank them. The room was a reasonable size, cozy and clean, the windows are soundproof, the shower is good and equipped with quality soap and shampoo so we didn't have to open the toiletries bag... The air conditioner is working, and the bed was a bit narrow but reasonable. The breakfast was definitely good, even surprising in variety and quality. The hotel is definitely recommended for connections and early flights...
