Al Andalus Torrox

Booked a small double room with views (room 202) so it would be cool in the summer heat (as had an important day the next day). Turned up at the hotel and no one in reception, took and an hour on WhatsApp to be directed (remotely) to a shabby loft “apartment” past signs saying Privado (Private) , no views and worst as in the lost , no ventilation of all and it was about 35oC so one small aircon unit had no chance, did not sleep at all all night and took the shine off our important next day. Later on looked back on line and found the hotel had cancelled my room 202 booking the day of arrival. Never saw anyone during our stay so took matters up with the hotel and they would not answer , so escalated to booking.com and the hotel won’t answer them either. The worst hotel experience ever because they simply don’t care!

Clean, comfy beds, close to main square. Can be noisy (street side) Beautiful views Didn’t have breakfast so don’t know Didn’t really see staff, which didn’t bother us but may bother some, they could be contacted if needed. No coffee making facilities in the room, no fridge either which would have been really useful Shower was powerful Hotel had payable designated parking spaces, walking distance from hotel ( a few minutes) We chose the free car parks again a few minutes walk away. They may get busy in the summer. Loved Torrox pueblo people were friendly

Clean, if basic, hotel room. Value for money and well situated in the town. Easy online check in. Great to have dedicated parking (albeit a short walk away). Small car recommended due to narrow streets. Warm welcome from Chus on reception. Would stay again.
