Clean, spacious room, with air con which was most definitely needed. Receptionists were friendly, and prompt with our check in. Parking underground, paid but needed as on street parking not available. We stayed for one Saturday night at the end of June whilst in the area, and the hotel was quiet, we slept well. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Lots of shops and cafes locally on the high street which is a stones throw away, and a short stroll the seafront.

This hotel was suggested to us by our children who had stayed here last year. And I must say it was a wonderful choice. First is the location. Excellent location, downtown with Old Town within walking distance with lots of shopping & eateries & grocery stores. The taxi stand is also just below the hotel. The rooms are small, but ok. The balcony was huge enough for the four of us to sit & have our daily breakfast of fruits, home made sandwiches & instant poha together. The lady at the reception provided us all with city maps and we collected a huge amount of tourist literature from the desk. The chef at the restaurant was Italian & vegetarian & would personally come to suggest vegetarian options which he would make especially for us. The Maitre d' of the restaurant was a girl from Kerala. Very sweet & helpful. The rooms had paper glasses so my wife went up to her in the restaurant & she provided us with porcelain mugs for tea/coffee which we made in rooms. On the downside, the hotel provided complimentary water bottles on the first day, later on you were on your own. Not a big deal, we got 2 litre water bottles for our stay of four days & kept on adding. The cleaning lady was an old lady. I tried tipping her but she would not take but accepted when I insisted. Travel professionals say that for any hotel, location is the top consideration & I must say this one maxed it. The helpful nature of each staff member was the jewel in the crown.

The hotel Bavaria has an excellent value for money. The location is perfect to reach the center of the old town, which is just a few meters. Parking attached to the hotel and affiliated has a convenient cost and is extremely convenient. The rooms are standard but modern and very comfortable, especially the beds which are comfortable and large. The restaurant where breakfast is served is an extremely pleasant place; breakfast quite basic, but as everywhere in Andalusia. What I really liked was the kindness and sympathy of all the extremely helpful, qualified and always smiling staff. I absolutely recommend the property.
