A huge disappointment. I have often stayed at this hotel, which I am particularly fond of. Regarding the room: my bathroom wasn't really clean, and my bed was very poorly made. I pointed this out after the first night, yet nothing was rectified the following night—or the time after that.My bed was actually made very poorly—it’s the first time in my life I’ve ever seen anything like it (see the photo of the bed just as I was getting ready to sleep, as well as the blood-stained bath towel I found in the bathroom). There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign in my room, so I asked for one the next day; however, when I returned that evening, they still hadn't brought it, so I had to make one by hand myself (see photo).
Some staff members were unfriendly; they often forget that they work in a field where hospitality, service, and—above all—friendliness are crucial, since we are here for a vacation and, in a way, for a bit of happiness and escapism. The hotel is in a wonderful location and the setting is beautiful—which is why I love coming back—but this time, I am truly disappointed.
